Ale's pizza e food (Reggio Emilia)

Perfect pizza and fried food, even if the bucatini inside the spaghetti omelette were a little ahead of cooking because I would have taken them out of the boiling water a few minutes earlier since he cooked them twice since he then fried them as per tradition. Fresh ingredients. Honest and fair prices for pizza and fried foods. I wasn't convinced by the dessert, I took the tiramisu, I couldn't taste the egg with the mascarpone, they are not artisanal also because it was a little hard because it had been frozen, certainly not made the same day... if you would have done so artisanal desserts (few but good), everything would be a 5 out of 5. However, the title of best pizza chef in Italy 2022 is certainly deserved. The wood-fired oven is beautiful with the surface that rotates to make cooking the pizzas perfect. I gave it a four just for the dessert, otherwise I would have given it 5 stars, I tried to be as objective as possible.

I have been a regular customer for a few months now. I tried various pizzas, all very good with a very light and easily digestible dough. The "Calabrese" pizza is recommended, very tasty and gourmet, the liquorice powder gives that magical touch and an explosion of flavors together with an excellent nduja. Also try the croquettes, the aubergine one is highly recommended. In short, this is a place you try the first time and then never leave 😉

It is well known that Ale's pizza is of the highest level but tonight he managed to surprise me with the pizza of the day: a white pizza with black figs, gorgonzola, parmesan wafer and raw ham. The pizza arrived already portioned, the slices already separated, each slice with all the ingredients in balance with each other. What can I say, at Ale we start with high-level pizza and high-level ingredients, this time he added a high-level "thought". A pizza with a great thought behind it, lucid but passionate. Ale is officially super saiyan. Highly recommended.

I had already been to Ale's Pizza in its old location and even in this new, more sophisticated location, the quality of the products has not changed! All very good. We took a classic "Bronte" pizza and a "Campione" pan, crunchy on the outside and very soft on the inside, truly first choice products and perfectly cooked. In total we spent €49 for two pizzas, 2 drinks and a water plus a coffee and a bitter.
